North Cerney Memorial Village Hall presents the North Cerney Scamper, a 5k / 10k run (or walk) through the lovely Cotswolds countryside.
This is a fundraising event to raise money for the maintenance of the Village Hall, and to support the local community (including North Cerney PTA).
The course consists of two 5k loops, taking in the Monarchs Way . The route is predominantly on local trails and farm tracks, with a short road section and a good hill! This is a fun 5k or 10k trail race, open to all abilities aged 15 and over. We recommend wearing sensible shoes and doing the race at your own pace. The event will be marshalled, but be aware that the short road section is also open to traffic. The route has been designed with permission from local landowners and we thank them for their support.
All times will be recorded professionally by RunningViola, with a finishers' momento and prizes for winners across the age categories.
Refreshments will be on sale at the race headquarters in North Cerney Memorial Village Hall (GL7 7BZ).
Parking will be available opposite North Cerney Church.
We are aiming to be a minimal waste/plastic event. There will be a water station but if possible please do bring your own cup/bottle to minimise waste.
Further race day details will be sent out before the event.
Good luck!
